Cheerleading Teacher

IASF Level 1-2 in Stunts, Tumbles and Tosses

I have had a strong passion for dance since I was a tot and adored being part of various local dance and theatre groups. This led on to being granted a place at Redroofs Theatre School as a full time day school pupil from the age of 13. This was an extremely invaluable experience for me as not only did it develop my skills as a young performer but also my confidence blossomed as well as my love for dance and Musical Theater.

From here I continued my dance training at the Stella Mann School of Performing Arts in London on their full time Musical Theatre course. After leaving I danced professionally in various variety shows and became part of the Entertainments team with the Warner Holiday group.

In recent years I have discovered the fun world of Cheerleading, which is now beginning to take over my life! I just love the way cheer is such a team effort and with such different elements to it there is a little something for everyone and gives each person their moment to shine.

I have been very privileged over the past few years to be part of the coaching team at The Chiltern Cheetahs, a competitive bucks based cheerleading squad, where we have competed in various regional and national competitions. I am hugely excited to start using all the experience and knowledge I have gained to introduce The Mellor Performing Arts School to the crazy world of cheer with our fun recreational classes!

I have also enjoyed holding musical theatre workshops for schools in the past and currently enjoy running primary school dance clubs alongside my beloved work as a Teaching Assistant.

Together with my experience and passion I also hold a current CRB, First Aid in School certificate and my IASF Level 1-2 in stunts, tumbles and tosses Cheer coach qualification.
