Alongside my love of teaching young people is my love and passion for dance. From the age of 5, I danced both for fun and competitively. I trained in RAD ballet and ISTD modern and tap, and I enjoyed the challenge of working towards the next exam and grade or school performance.

I attended dance classes and rehearsals up to six days a week, and had so much fun, making lifelong friends along the way. I am now delighted to be nurturing others early interests and experiences of dance.

The baby ballet class follows the RAD ‘Dance to your own tune’ syllabus.

In this class, children are encouraged to feel and move to music through a series of imaginative adventures. For instance, one week we might explore an enchanted castle, and the next week we may go under the sea!

Dance to your own tune has been built upon the developmental needs of young children, with the underpinning principle of ‘Feeling Before Form.’ This fun exploration of dance provides the foundations for the more refined movements of the later RAD syllabi.

I look forward to carrying on my role as Baby Ballet Teacher at MPAS x
