Hi, I’m Miss Mia!

My enthusiasm for dance started when my mum took me to a local baby ballet and tap class, when I was 2 years old. This was something I loved and remember saying when I grow up I wanted to be like my teacher.

Growing up, I expanded to also doing singing, jazz, contemporary, modern, latin, street dance, musical theatre and gymnastics, at a local dance schools.

 Throughout Primary School, I started the street dance after school club, and this is where my love of hip hop and commercial first started.

From there, up until college, I trained and competed at various street dance competitions, with Reading School of Dance.

Once I reached 16, I went to Kingsclere Performing Arts college, completing a Level 3 Diploma in Performing Arts.

Afterwards, I chose to go to The Wilkes Academy, completing a degree in Musical Theatre; here I got taught by teachers such as Kamila Zalewska, Kane Silver, Ricky Jinks, Philip Birchall, Sam Salter and Alice Fearn. 

During this time I also joined Tap Attack.

 I have been teaching for 2 years, which is something that I actually didn’t think I would want to do, but since getting stuck into it, I absolutely love it. I love watching kids learn and grow, and see the enjoyment and inspiration I can bring to them, through dance.

 Qualifications I have received are Intermediate Tap, Modern and Ballet, a Diploma and Degree in Musical Theatre, Level 3 Mat Pilates Instructor and will be starting my DDE in September 2026.

 I look forward to continuing my journey at MPAS!
